Northern Irish McCollum Connolly was released earlier this year after being jailed alongside Scot Melissa Reid after being caught with £1.5 million of cocaine at a Peruvian airport.
It's reported she found God whilst serving her sentence in a harsh overseas jail.
The Mail Online claims she will live with a priest at a tiny house in the Peruvian capital Lima during her probation.
She will earn money by working for the church as a reporter for its weekly newsletter.
The 23-year-old is said to be seeking a fresh start as a committed Christian living with Fr Sean Walsh.
The priest told the Mail Online: "Michaella did her time with dignity, took her lumps and now she's ready to start life fresh.
"I'm excited about the possibility of working with her.
"Michaella is an intelligent and gifted young lady, she just did something dumb, now she can get on with the rest of her life.
"She will be on parole for another 50 months, but she can apply to leave Peru and go back to Ireland.
"My apartment will be her residence."
He added: "I'm not sure she was a staunch Catholic before I met her, but I really think she did come to the Lord [in prison], at least in her conversations with me, she indicated that."
Fr Sean Walsh has been visiting McCollum Connolly and Reid in prison for the past two years at the request of the UK Foreign Office.
