Teen charged with double church arson

The roof at All Saints Church in Fleet, Hampshire, has been completely destroyed and the inside is a shell after a blaze on June 22.

It's emerged fire fighters were called to a separate incident at the same church on June 16.

Hampshire Constabulary said a boy, aged 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been charged with arson recklessly endangering life for the June 22 blaze.

The force added that the same boy had been charged with arson for the fire on June 16.

The teenager has been remanded in custody and will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court later.

For a monthly gift of $11 or more we’d also be able to send you a free copy of the brand new Premier Bible, a wonderful Anglicised version of the NLT packed with exclusive bonus content, reading plan and resources to help you get the most out of scripture.
