Tue 12 Jan 2016
By Aaron James

Three teenagers will go on trial today accused of the murder of a schoolboy found dead in a cemetery next to a church.

Jordan Watson, 14, was discovered in the graveyard next to St John the Baptist Church in Carlisle, Cumbria, on June 16 last year.

George Thomson, 18, Brahnn Finley, 19, and Daniel Johnston, also 19, all of Carlisle, are charged with his murder.

The three men deny murder.

A post-mortem examination showed that Jordan Watson died from multiple wounds to the head and neck.

The hearing is to take place at Carlisle Crown Court.
