Revd Jim Percival, 64, from Holy Trinity Church in Freckleton was questioned by officers on Tuesday on suspicion of a historical rape allegation, relating to a 28-year-old woman.
Earlier this month Revd Percival and his daughter Ruth were released on bail until March, after being arrested on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to conceal the birth of a child; following the discovery of a baby's body in Lancashire in November.
His wife, Susan, 65, was also released and bailed after being questioned by police on suspicion of conspiracy to conceal the birth of a child.
Revd Percival has been bailed until January in relation to the rape allegation.
