Dr Eric Thomas, popularly known as ET or 'the Hip Hop Preacher', headed up the Urban Life 2016 in Kilburn, north-west London on Saturday.
Mr Thomas, who is also an author and consultant to major American sports teams, was one of several speakers at the motivational event, which also included speakers from property, finance and music.
Urban Life 2016 is aiming to get people of all ages to achieve their full potential in a godly way.
The Hip Hop preacher is also set to meet young people at Westminster Kingsway College in central London next week.
He told Premier: "Church is the number one place where it starts, I think the credibility of the church, the power of the church, the history of the church, I think it is the church's responsibility because they have the good news, they have the tools, they're right there in the Word.
"So I think the Church has a great responsibilty because everything a person needs to be successful can be found in the Word, it is our blueprint, it is our map to success."
"Faith without words is dead, they go hand in hand... so you have to believe in God and then you have to get up and you gotta do what He asks you to do."
