A new survey has shown that almost half of Scots have no faith. 47% said they had 'no religion'. Only 27.8% of the population identify themselves as being part of The Church of Scotland - the country's most popular denomination.
2. '10,000 Reasons' made an unexpected appearance on BBC News
Matt Redman's 'Bless the Lord (10,000 Reasons)' was sung by a Christian man as he underwent a revolutionary operation to remove a brain tumour. The BBC recorded Reuben Hill, 22 singing the famous worship song and broadcast it online and on air this week.
3. 1,360 new Christians at this year's Soul Survivor
Soul Survivor announced 1,360 people became Christians at this summer's events. Spokesman Jonny Goodchild said: "It has been absolutely amazing...I don't think we're doing anything special - we're just thankful for all God is doing."
4. The Baldwins love reality TV
Stephen Baldwin took part in 2010's Celebrity Big Brother. And now his brother wants to have a go! Daniel Baldwin has already taken part in the US version of I'm a Celebrity so it seems the Baldwins are big fans of reality TV shows. While much less outspoken on his faith than brother Stephen, Daniel is quoted by creators.com as saying: "I'm a born-again Christian".
5. Jesus jokes are funny/not funny (del as appropriate)
"Jesus fed 5,000 people with two fishes and a loaf of bread. That's not a miracle. That's tapas". Hilarious? Or Blasphemous? Opinion is divided, but either way, this joke has been officially declared as the sixth funniest gag of Edinburgh Fringe 2015.
