Justin Bieber didn't cancel tour because of us - Hillsong

A spokesman confirmed that that they had nothing to do with Justin's decision to cancel the remaining 14 dates of his Purpose world tour.

'The recent announcement by Justin Bieber about his tour does not involve Hillsong Church,' the spokesperson said to Daily Mail, Australia.

'We wish Justin the best for his future.'

Justin was in Australia to attend the annual Hillsong Church conference in Sydney.

However, when he was directly asked by TMZ, he only offered the answer, "No" with an added, "You already know the reason".   Bieber had previously told TMZ that he was suffering from burnout.

However, Australia's Channel Nine entertainment guru Richard Wilkins had claimed, on Tuesday, that the real reason Justin decided to step off the tour bus was that he wanted to 'reconnect with his faith' and possibly start his own church. Richard had said that he had garnered the 'exclusive' information from an inside, unnamed source.

When asked for a message for his fans, he had said "I love you guys, I think you guys are awesome.

"Sorry for anyone who feels disappointed or betrayed, it's not in my heart [or] anything, and have a blessed day."

In an official statement Justin's representatives said: "Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months."

According to news.com.au, Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager, said: "A man's soul and wellbeing I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honour that. Justin will be back and I know he looks forward to performing for you and with you all again."
