Around 90,000 people attended the event which comes amid the worsening refugee crisis as more and more people arrive into European countries.
Sini Maria Heikkila, a Christian campaigner that works for an anti-persecution charity, marched and told Premier that she would like to see a united response to this humanitarian crisis.
She said: "Regarding Germany I just read today that only last weekend Germany took 18,000 refugees - so if you look at the commitment of the UK leadership to take 20,000 by 2020, it does look quite modest and quite concerning."
Home Secretary Theresa May will be holding emergency talks about the refugee crisis on Monday.
Sini Maria Heikkila stressed that the German public had been particularly kind: "People have praised the German public, how they've been so open and welcoming to refugees .
"I hope today we can really send the same message to EU countries and political leaders and also refugees.
"My German friend said, just a couple of days ago that she's never been more proud of her country."
