Answered prayer via Premier

Sue Jones was impressed with the prayer support from Premier

Premier has been such a great encouragement to me over the years and as I was recovering myself from knee replacement surgery I was reflecting on what a comfort and benefit you have been over the years and the significant answers to prayer we have seen.

I am a 69 year old, former provincial/corporate journalist and latterly pastoral care assistant at a local Baptist Church where we live in Portsmouth. Most of my time is spent looking after grandchildren: we have nine aged between 15 and four through our three children.

Around seven years ago my husband Graham (75) developed a rare, mysterious blood disorder and during the three months it took to establish a diagnosis, I found Premier a supreme comfort.

I’m not sure if it was then, or through subsequent illness, that I first started to text in prayer requests, both for family and friends. I’ve sent them to Esther Higham., David Senior, Michael Fanstone and maybe others.

Praise God Graham has been healed from the blood disorder and we saw healing too of my granddaughter from a heart condition.

I’m just struck by the immediacy of response and the way the prayer requests can be shared with wider church family. On the rare occasions when my request hasn’t been read out, I’ve had a comforting return text assuring me that it will be passed on to Premier’s prayer team.

I’ve been extremely grateful at the empathy shown and the sincere care.

Every blessing on you all.  Thank you so much for your ministry. Like so many ministries, its full effects will not be known this side of heaven.
