William Lane Craig: Is God a Delusion? Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford October 2011
On 25th October 2011 Professor William Lane Craig spoke to a capacity audience at Oxford's Sheldonian theatre. He critiqued Richard Dawkins' book The God Delusion and interacted with a panel of academics. The event was Chaired by Professor Peter Millican of Hertford College, and the panel comprised Dr. Daniel Came, Dr Stephen Priest, and Dr John Parrington. Richard Dawkins was invited to defend his book but refused. An empty chair was left for him in case he changed his mind. This was followed by an audience Q&A.

In October 2011, William Lane Craig, arguably the world's leading Christian academic apologist, visited the UK for a series of lectures and debates. Following his highly successful Reasonable Faith Tour in 2007, Bill once again presented the case for the truth of the Christian faith, responding both to Stephen Hawking's recent book The Grand Design as well as to Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion, which recently saw its 5 year publication anniversary.
William Lane Craig is Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot Theological College, California. He is a renowned Christian Philosopher and apologist who had debated many of the world's best known atheists. He returns to the UK for the Reasonable Faith Tour during October 2011 to present lectures on the rational grounds for the truth of Christianity and to debate the existence of God with leading atheists.
