Event Description

One Day a Week - Tuesdays Many fresh expressions and pioneer projects are deeply engaged in relating gospel and culture and much Christian ministry has to respond creatively to cultural issues. This unit seeks to equip us to make that engagement and response even more fruitful and insightful by offering tools of cultural analysis and theological perspectives to enable constructive cultural engagement by Christians. We will consider issues such as power and resistance, ideology, social difference, the interplay of material culture and meanings as well as how these may be theologically understood. Revd Andii Bowsher is a lecturer in practical theology and mixed mode course leader.
