Event Description

In Service Study Weeks Many Christians struggle with the complex ethical issues we face in society today. Many struggle even more with how we use the Bible, and particularly the Old Testament in helping us address such issues. This unit will explore how the Old Testament has been used and help students think through the relevant issues in making use of the Old Testament when facing ethical questions. Dr Doug Ingram is lecturer in Old Testament Studies at St John's, with a research interest in biblical wisdom and ethics, and in reading the Bible in the postmodern setting.
