Event Description

The Symphony Orchestra & Chorus of the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, perform a new work by Director of Music, Peter White, specially composed to celebrate the school's quincentenary. Taking as its starting point the RGS School Hymn, Who would true valour see, with its well known words by John Bunyan, shall life inherit explores the concept of pilgrimage in a complex and often dark modern world.

The concert programme also includes Rossini's William Tell Overture and Handel's Zadok the Priest.
