The Prince Caspian premiere

Premier Presenter Lizzie Crow and the ten winners of our competition joined the stars on the red carpet for the premiere of Prince Caspian.

Last night the air crackled with anticipation as fans and film crews waited for the biggest UK premiere ever to kick off. The Prince Caspian premiere at the O2 Arena was about to give 10,000 fans a rare night in Narnia.

Having met up with the ten winners from Premier’s competition we embarked onto the red carpet which was divided into two, a channel for the stars and a green carpet for the thousands of people who had come to this unique and record breaking film screening.

Guiding the way into the arena were sentries dressed in full battle gear and knights mounted on horses, and others re-enacting fierce battle scenes and brandishing their swords.

Suddenly the cast landed at the pier alighting from their boat. The crowd was getting very excited as we caught a glimpse of the four children, Liam Neeson (the voice of Aslan) and the star of the night Ben Barnes. A huge cheer was let out as Ben passed by signing autographs, shaking hands and answering questions.

At this point we were ushered into our seats to continue the night’s entertainment. The screen was enormous and it was truly impressive to see that many people seated in the auditorium.

A ripple of excitement ran round the audience as one by one the stars were announced and brought onto the stage for a brief interview. Then we were plunged into darkness and the magic began. The film was gripping and fabulously put together with stunning visuals and sound effects.

By the end the entire audience was lost in the Narnian world and there was clapping and cheering as the victors came through at the end. The experience was awesome and one that the winners and I will never forget. So go see the film for yourself!

Caspian is coming

'Prince Caspian' is the exciting new tale to follow the 2005 epic film "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". Based on the beloved and best selling series of books by CS Lewis, the film was the biggest movie of the year.

This new instalment of The Chronicles promises to take audiences on an extraordinary journey back to the magical world of Narnia. The film is set to be bigger and more spectacular than ever before, with more action and battle scenes as well as incredible visual effects.

With all editing, post-production and principal visual effects work completed in London, Prince Caspian returns The Chronicles of Narnia series back to Great Britain, the home of CS Lewis.

The film also sees the introduction of a whole series of new characters including the swashbuckling mouse Reepicheep, the Red Dwarf Trumpkin, the suspicious Black Dwarf Nikabrik, the faithful badger Trufflehunter and Prince Caspian himself.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is set for cinema screens across the country June 26th.
