We’ve watched, as the global economy has been brought to the brink of collapse. For months now we’ve seen the pound slip and read every paper heralding the recession.
Is my job secure? Will we be able to pay that bill? Can I really afford to get that?
As we list off our worries the reality of what life in a recession could mean catches up with us.
Our have it all culture, stick it on a credit card and find true happiness, way of life has come crashing down. And as Christians if we are honest we probably have been guilty of at some time being caught in this cycle of thought and behaviour.
But as the UK faces a recession as severe as the finance troubles of The Great Depression our sand houses have shifted. Now is the time to re-affirm our trust in God as we are called to respond differently.
