See For Yourself with Tearfund
The answer to poverty is in your hands.
Invest in the Church and change communities today. ‘See for yourself’ the difference the Church can make in unlocking potential and helping people transform their own lives.
Journey with a community in Africa, Asia or Latin America and as you invest £20 a month, we’ll show you examples of the impact you are making. You’ll meet incredible people and see their stories come to life as you receive emails and prayer updates from your chosen community. Every three months we’ll send you a short film so you can see the transformation for yourself.
As part of God’s Church, we’re inviting you to see the realities of poverty, the ups and downs, and the messy beauty of development as it unfolds. We don’t know what God will do in these communities over the coming months and years, but that’s the adventure we’re inviting you to share.

At 10am every weekday Premier presents a brief reminder of the work Tearfund and its partners are doing all over the world, most importantly with points for prayer. Choose Nepal, and meet people like Sita, 14, who is one of the first in her community of former slaves to get an education. The church provides a school, as well as loans for people to start businesses to overcome their poverty.
Choose Peru, and meet people like Sarela, whose church is helping her learn to knit so she can earn money to provide for her baby. Her neighbour Miguel says: ‘Faith in God is the best thing we have, because He helps us to help others’.
Choose Uganda, and meet people like Richard, whose church helped him to discover Jesus and beat his alcohol addiction. The church has also helped families like his to grow more crops to see them through the lean times.
