British debt at record high

New research from Money Supermarket dot com says consumers already owe over fifty five billion pounds on their cards in the UK.

They now have the capacity to borrow up to two hundred billion pounds if they choose to 'max out' their cards.

This is reportedly more than the government spends on health and education put together.
