7. Openly gay bishop to speak at conference

Liberal anglican group the Modern Churchpeople's Union are currently holding their annual conference.

Entitled 'Saving the Soul of Anglicanism' - they will be discussing issues currently surrounding the Anglican Church.

One of the speakers there is the only openly gay bishop Gene Robinson.

Rev Jonathan Clatworthy is the secretary of the MCU.

He tells Premier they have a right to invite him.
