7. Lambeth Conference begins in earnest

The Lambeth Conference is into its second week with Anglican bishops preparing for debates on climate change and poverty among other topics.

But the major talking point is the division within the Church over gay bishops.

The once-a-decade meeting will attempt to cool the row over the appointment of homosexuals.

Dr Rowan Williams explains what he would have said to those boycotting the meeting over the issue.
