7. Church fails in bid to build flats

A church in Harrow has had it's bid to build housing on it's land rejected.

St George's Church was trying to raise funds by building fifteen flats on it's playing fields.

The plans were opposed by many locals who put together a seven hundred and twenty five name petition.

Church leaders are now considering an appeal.
