A Lancashire church is being forced into closure due to decreasing numbers and a crumbling building.

The Methodist Chapel at Walmer Bridge near Preston will close next month because it can't afford the repair costs.

The hundred year old building would have cost up to fifty thousand pounds to put right.

The congregation will now be split among three other local churches.
