A Lincolnshire church could be turned into a mosque after planners backed the move.

St Matthew's church has been empty after structural problems saw it close.

The Islamic association of Lincoln have bought the grade two listed building and say they will invest to make it safe.

Although some locals have objected, planners are recommending the council approve the work.
