7. American bishop criticises his own church

Its been reported an American bishop's accusing his own church of manipulating the Lambeth Conference.

He says the US Episcopal Church's representatives are armed with briefing notes explaining how to promote liberal attitudes to gay clergy.

The feuding over the ordination of homosexuals has overshadowed the once-a-decade meeting.

Bishop of Stepney, the Rt Revd Stephen Oliver, spoke to Premier's Cindy Kent at Canterbury University.

She started off by asking him how communication among the bishops is going.
