Labour lose Glasgow East election

July 25, 2008

Gordon Brown is fending off calls for a General Election after Labour lost one of its safest seats.

The Glasgow East by-election's been won by the Scottish nationalists.

The SNP managed to overturn a majority of thirteen-and-a-half thousand - a swing of more than twenty-two per cent.

Andrew Lowe is from Glasgow City Mission.

He tells Premier the result wasn't that much of a suprise.
