7. Stabbing at Lichfield Cathedral

Staffordshire Police say two women were stabbed in Lichfield Cathedral last night.

A forty-two year old man from Erdington in Birmingham has been arrested and is being sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
 
Officers were called to the incident just before five - yesterday evening.

The Bishop of Lichfield, Right Reverend Jonathan Gledhill says he's distressed over the incident.
