Women Bishop claims claims clergy beat wives

It's reported an American Woman Bishop claims Anglican Church leaders in developing countries beat their wives.

Speaking at the Lambeth Conference, Catherine Roskam, Suffragan Bishop of New York, says "even the most devout Christians" are guilty of domestic violence.

Her comments from an article in the 'Lambeth Witness' - are being condemned as outrageous and untrue.

The Methodist Church commissioned a report on Domestic Abuse in 2005.
