Andy Walton
Andy started in radio at the age of 13 helping on a hospital radio programme. During his three years at university he spent more time in the student radio station than the library. After studying for an MA in Broadcast journalism he worked for several local commercial radio stations and the BBC on a freelance basis.
He arrived at Premier in 2007 to read the news and has since become the presenter of Sunday Breakfast as well. He's a huge Bolton Wanderers fan and has followed the team to Bulgaria, Belgrade and Barrow-In-Furness. He's passionate about music, attends loads of gigs and plays the drums.
Andy was born in Blackpool, raised in Bolton and studied in Lancaster and Preston. He now lives in exile in South West London.
