Norwich Youth For Christ, working in partnership with local Churches, is encouraging young people to explore music and media through a project called TRACKS.
It hit the road for the first time in September 2016 following years of fundraising to provide the £55,000 to purchase and equip the van.
Sarah Ballard is their Music Youth Worker and heads up the Mobile Recording Studio Project which specialises in working with disengaged and marginalised young people in local schools around Norwich.
The mobile recording studio has been installed in a van so within a few minutes of arriving on site, they are ready to start work. It has a sound proof vocal booth on board the van, and they are able to run cables out to a building for larger group recordings.
Premier’s Correspondent Ian Britton met up with Sarah and she started by sharing just little about her own faith journey which resulted in here passion to share the gospel though music.
