Carol Singing

In the weeks running up to Christmas Carol Singing has been taking place all over the country.

By the village Christmas Tree, in the shopping mall, along at the local care home and in hospital wards.

Hospital Chaplain Revd. Nigel Goodfellow from Newcastle upon Tyne says that carol singing really does make a difference to patients, their families and staff when he takes carol singers around the wards of his local Hospitals.

Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton joined the Carols Singers at the RVI hospital in Newcastle and you can listen to his report below.
