Consett Pub Chaplain A Success

Last year Premier broadcast a story from The Company Row pub in Consett, County Durham.

It featured Chaplain Mel Nixon who felt called to chaplaincy in her local Wetherspoons.

She told Premier she loves “being where Jesus would be being out in the communities ... reaching people who he would have spent time with and of course I do like talk.”

To find out how things are going now Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton has been back for an update.
