Gateshead Care Home Choir

A choir from Gateshead care homes is continuing to wow audiences on Tyneside.

The 75 strong Gateshead Care Home Choir is made up of care workers and older people living with dementia.

With the back of Equal Arts professional musicians Nicky Rushton and Liz Corney are visiting Gateshead care homes to encourage people with their singing.

To see the difference singing really makes Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton joined them for their latest performance at the Rendezvous Cafe, Whitley Bay.
