The Singing Train Guard

In the Yorkshire town of Harrogate Paul Mirfin is well know as the Singing Train Guard.

His day job involves looking after passengers on the Leeds to York railway line.

When he’s not checking tickets he’s writing songs that are full of Northern grit and honesty.
