School desks from Northern Ireland to Tanzania

There’s a great deal of discussion about education these days in Northern Ireland. For example, there are ongoing debates about the value of ‘integrated’ education and such topics

But no-one expects kids at school here to sit on the floor to learn. Yet Tom Robinson, director of a local Christian charity called Kids 4 School, found that happening when he visited Tanzania a year or two ago. So, what was he to do about it? Colm Flanagan, spoke to Tom and asked him, what was he doing in Tanzania in the first place?
