Fibromyalgia , is a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body and as it's invisible to see, often those who have the condition can feel misunderstood, judged or alone.

Cardiff and Vale Fibrofighters is a social group that offers to support and friendship to those who have condition and their partners and carers and has recently been granted a official charity status.Now running three groups in Barry, Fairwater Cardiff and Penarth they have over forty members on their books and great links with local community and local NHS. Alan Winning-Wyatt, is Campaigns Manager for the charity, which was set up following his wife's diagnosis with the condition  and spoke to our regional correspondent Rachel Matthews over the phone about the charity and how they bring the gospel into the heart of what they do...
