Over the past few years the global church has been discussing what a theological, biblical and pastoral response might be to those who identity as LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender).

The LGB orientation has been debated at length, but the church's position on transgenderism - when someone is born male or female but experiences a mismatch between the gender they were born with and the one they identify as - is still very much in its infancy.

During this programme we will hear personal stories from both transgender men and women of faith, we will discuss whether it is something which can be medically explained and treated, and we will also investigate what role the Bible has to play in informing this debate.
