A Lasting Legacy of Hope

As we find ourselves in the most extraordinary of times, we trust in our Lord’s promise that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

And while all around us fear abounds, Premier continues day and night to spread hope and light into the darkest of places. Through our broadcasts, magazines, Premier Lifeline, devotionals and many free online resources, we’re here for you.

This year as Premier gives thanks to God for 25 years of amazing ministry, we can’t help but look back at the incredible vision Christian men and women had in the early 90’s for a distinctly Christian radio station to transform the UK. What seemed impossible then, God made possible.

This is a time for prayer and for coming together even if we can’t be in the same physical space, and it is our prayer for you and your loved ones that Premier through all its outputs will encourage, comfort and support you through these unprecedented times.

Even now as the world battles with the impact of Coronavirus we need that vision, knowing that God’s will for us is a hope and a future. He is the rock we can build our lives on and Premier wants more and more people to know that they have this hope too.

Making your Will is a positive, selfless and generous act. As you put in place the things that will bless your loved ones and perhaps people you don’t even know, you are paying forward the blessings God has given you in your life.

There are times in our lives when our circumstances change and we need to make sure our Will represents those changes. Perhaps you have just got married or just had a child. You may have just bought a property or received a large windfall. Or if you have recently lost your spouse, your Will needs to be updated.

As you reflect on the people and causes you care about and the kind of future you want for them, our prayer is that, if you have made your Will or intend to do this, that you will consider a gift to Premier to ensure this ministry will have a lasting impact for generations to come. We know that providing for family and loved ones come first, but having done that, a gift of whatever size to Premier will ensure we are building The Kingdom long into the future.

God calls us to use our many and varied gifts, and to contribute with generosity where we see need, demonstrating acts of mercy and kindness with a cheerful heart. So while the world view may be frightening at this time, as Christians we live in hope while we keep Christ at the centre.

If you have yet to make your Will, and this something you are considering, Premier has partnered with Bequeathed, an online Will service where you can make a Will at no cost to you. In addition, should you need help from a solicitor, they can put you in touch with one.

If the time is right for you, and should you have questions about making a will and the importance of legacies to our work, Premier has created a simple legacy booklet full of useful information which you can download here.  Or please don’t hesitate to call me if I can help.
