Digital Cataloguer

Premier Christian Communications is looking to catalogue a large collection of digital material, including a large quantity of audio files. This material includes thirty years of magazine articles, video in addition to the output of three radio stations.

The material will need to be uploaded to a digital asset management system and catalogued according to the archive’s retention policy.

It is intended that this work can be conducted remotely, and as access to a personal computer and good internet connection are required. Full training will be provided at the group London offices.

This role is part time consisting of a 20-hour week and will be paid at a rate of £15 per hour. Candidates must be available for at least one year.

This role will suit graduates, those who are looking for regular part time work and/or recently retired. You must be willing to work independently of close supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be needed to be able to rapidly assimilate information both in written and audio-visual formats. You would need to be computer literate and able to work with minimal direct supervision. Access to a private computer and reliable internet are essential.  A proven knowledge of the Christian faith is a distinct advantage though not essential.
