Seven discussions are being held in places of worship across the country over the next few weeks ahead of September's referendum.
The topic has previously seen heated confrontations but Christian MSP Murdo Fraser - who's debating at St Mark's in Perth later - tells Premier he's expecting a more respectful dialogue.
The debates, organised by the Evangelical Alliance, are hosted in the major cities, including Aberdeen, Inverness, Sterling & Dundee.
