Church caretaker's pregnant wife dies at railway station

Zdenka Yabani, 39, bought a ticket on 8th January at Slough station, Berkshire, before climbing on to the tracks, less than a mile from the St Andrew's Methodist Church where she lived with her husband and their two other children.

Police were called to the incident at 9.30am.

Senior Berkshire coroner Peter Bedford opened the inquest into the Mrs Yabani's death and said: "Confirmation of her identity was given by her husband, Jude Yabani.

Mrs Yabani was born in the former Czechoslovakia and she met her husband Mr Yubani, 40, while they were students at a university in the Czech Republic.

The inquest was adjourned until 21st June.
