Cliff Richard wishes himself 'good health that God has provided' for 78th birthday
Sir Cliff Richard’s 60th anniversary tour will include one of his live shows being showcased in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, with encore screenings on 14th October to celebrate his 78th birthday.
The popstar is celebrating 60 years in the music industry with shows across the globe including the UK, Germany, Canada and New Zealand.
Speaking during a Live in Cinemas press Q&A about encore screening, he said: "I wish for another year of the good health that God has provided me with and, as always, I hope I don’t disappoint my fans in any way and that this tour will bring pleasure, fun, and a little bit of something new into their lives."
Asked what his favourite memory in the music industry is, Sir Cliff said: "Even after all these years, it is still exciting to remember those 14 No 1s...those 34 top four records and all the top 20 entries I had....I find it hard to think that it actually happened to me."
He said his new album set to be released in November made him feel "reborn" as it has taken him "back to where I started, bringing fresh songs to an audience".
Fans will be able to see Sir Cliff's live show in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, live from Manchester Bridgewater Hall on 12th October.
