A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after he was found stabbed in the grounds of a south east London church.
Police officers were called just after 4pm yesterday to reports of a male being injured in the grounds of St Mark's Church, Kennington, opposite Oval underground station.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "'Officers attended and found a 14 year old male suffering from a stab injury.
"The London Ambulance Service were called and he was taken to a south London hospital. We await an update on his condition."
The spokesperson added: "No arrests and enquiries are ongoiang."
A London ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.03pm today to reports of a stabbing on Kennington Park Road.
"We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene, arriving in under five minutes.
"We took one patient as a priority to a major trauma centre."
