Wendy Thomas from Southend hopes to distribute a tract containing Bible quotes to the more than 26 million households across the country.
Speaking on Premier's News Hour, she said: "On Valentine's Day, for many people, it's very difficult.
"They either aren't in a relationship, or they've lost their husband or wife, and they can be very lonely on Valentine's Day.
"It's nice to be reminded that God loves them, regardless of whether anybody else does."
Included in the leaflet is 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 which says "I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles" and "I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus", from John 17:23.
Wendy is receiving help to undertake the leaflet challenge, which she says could take two years to complete and stems from a vision she received from God.
She went on to say: "I felt that it was a vision that God gave me, so I obviously want to fulfil that.
"Knowing God as Father has made a complete difference in my life even though I was a Christian before that. It's very important to me."
Around 540,000 copies of the leaflet have already been distributed throughout Scotland and 75,000 have been handed out in Southend but they're now being rolled out nationwide.
Wendy added: "Valentine's Day tends to be about expensive material things, whereas God's love is eternal. Of course, human relationships are important.
"I'm married and I'm looking forward to spending Valentine's Day with my husband, so there's nothing wrong with that either."
