Anglican Syrian priest disputes 'modest' UN war dead figures

The conflict in Syria has resulted in the death of 93,000 people, according to the latest figures from the United Nations.

It represents a rise of more than 30,000 since the UN last issued figures covering the period to November 2012.

The UN said the victims include over 6000 children.

Revd Nadim Nassar, the world's only Syrian Anglican priest, fears the real number is likely to be far higher.
