The church leaders from across the globe and several action groups have joined forces to form the Exposed campaign in a bid to collective the issue.
In a letter addressed to leaders of the G20 presented on Friday, it calls on world leaders to secure greater transparency in the corporate financial system, blaming the current global tax mechanisms for costing developing countries over 500 billion pounds every year.
Revd Joel Edwards is from Micah Challenge International, which is part of Exposed has described the current system as 'wrong spiritually and morally.'
Speaking to Premier, he said: "On average, about 350 children will die every year, either directly or indirectly because of this kind of profit-shifting between companies.
"So a great deal of responsibility's to be laid at the doorsteps of multinationals.
"Not only is this wrong in financial and trading terms, it's wrong spiritually and morally. What we bring is a biblical conviction as much as doing the sums with everybody else.
"The European Parliament has picked up these requests and now we're saying to 20 of the world's most powerful economies: if all of us did this it would make the world a better place.
"That's why we're in Brisbane over these few days."
The G20 summit begins in Brisbane, Australia, on November the 15th - 16th 2014.
