Court looks into defrocked archbishop

Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski was defrocked by the Holy See after an investigation into the allegations although he is appealing.

He was the Vatican's ambassador to the Dominican Republic before being recalled to Rome in August 2013 after claims he had sexually abused boys.

Now a court in the Dominican Republic is deciding if there's enough evidence for criminal charges after Archbishop Wesolowski lost his diplomatic immunity.

Alleged victims will be interviewed by officials before a decision is made.
