Claims suggest pop star Justin Bieber paid €20,000 (almost £16,000) for a private tour of the Vatican, including the Pope's official residence and the Vatica
The singer posted a picture of himself within the building on his Instagram, and the Daily Mail newspaper claims he shelled out a small fortune for the pleasure.
The 20-year-old was given an after-hours look around the Vatican.
Bieber has spoken in the past about his Christian beliefs and recently attended a Bible study.
Just two years ago he famously referred to the Sistine Chapel as the "sixteenth chapel" during an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman.
