A fifth of children arranging offline meetings with friends made via the web

Christian campaign group has urged the Government to step-up its awareness campaigns on the issue in the wake of the findings.

Nearly one fifth of children have arranged offline meetings with friends made via the web, according to a new survey.

Another study out today has also revealed that 55% of young people in England now accept cyber-bullying as part of everyday life. 

Miranda Suit from Christian campaign group Safer Media has told Premier's Des Busteed on the News Hour why she wants the Government to do more to protect kids online.
