Welcome to Advent Moments, Premier’s online, interactive advent calendar taking you to the heart of a caring, sharing Christmas with Bible verses, activities, thoughtful prompts and encouraging challenges.
As we approach Christmas, we know that despite ourselves, we can be caught up in expectations: Gift buying, meal planning, decorations, family and church events, parties and school commitments.
Advent Moments is a daily reminder to step away from all distractions, no matter how well meaning and to recentre ourselves around the story of that first Christmas.
Our theme this year, ‘The Road to Bethlehem’ tells the unfolding story of the Nativity. But it’s not just about the journey to Bethlehem; it’s about the journey of hope, light, and love that God invites each of us to travel in our hearts as we await the birth of the infant Jesus.
Each day from the first to the twenty fourth open a window on your online calendar to reveal a small part of that story. A moment, a reflection, Bible verse, prayer, or our sponsor SAT-7*’s unique glimpses of faith from the Middle East. Together, they form one continuous narrative of expectation and wonder.
Then, finally, on Christmas Day, you’ll see the ‘big picture’ when all doors are open!
