AI Principles
Premier & Artificial Intelligence: Principles for use
Purpose
Premier uses some artificial intelligence (AI) enhanced tools to further our mission. We encourage responsible innovation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our work. We recognise the theological and ethical questions posed by AI, alongside its technical limitations.
Our Principles
Spiritual Discernment
- Our vision and values are rooted in God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, not technology.
- We seek God’s inspiration for our creativity, not machines.
- AI is a tool that can support human creativity and calling.
Human Responsibility
- People remain accountable for all AI-assisted work, including the theology, accuracy, and quality.
- AI tools may reflect biases from their training and creators; people must watch for this and correct it.
- All AI-assisted content must be reviewed, edited, and approved by qualified humans before publication or broadcast.
Transparency & Impersonation
- Our audience must never be misled into thinking an AI is a human (in photos, avatars, voices, writing, or personalised messages).
- Where authorship is not identified with an individual (e.g. anonymous marketing copy or a radio advert voice), it is not necessary to point out the use of AI assistance in those contexts.
