How to leave a legacy
Leaving a legacy to Premier is straightforward and easy to do.
Residuary legacy
This is when you leave to Premier all or some of what remains of your estate after all other bequests and expenses have been deducted. This type of gift ensures that those you care for are provided for, and has the additional benefit of keeping pace with inflation. Suggested wording:
I give all (or a __% share) of the residue of my estate, after payment of my debts, funeral expenses and inheritance tax liability, to Premier Christian Media Trust (registered charity number 287610) for its general charitable purposes. I direct that the receipt of the Finance Officer or duly authorised officer shall be a good discharge to my executors.
Pecuniary legacy
This is when you leave a gift of any cash sum to Premier.
